PJAS Winners
Congratulations to 8th graders John Monocello and August Rajakumar for their first place wins at the recent PA Junior Academy of Science competition. Both students will move on to the state competition at Penn State University in May. Second place awards were given to 8th graders Vanshika Jain, Zoey Guo and Aiden Bronkar as well as 7th graders Aarush Dutta and Rosemary Stafford. Vanshika also was awarded a certificate of achievement for scientific excellence by the Pittsburgh division of the Society of Women Engineers for her project on turning human waste into energy.
