After a two-year hiatus, the Mellon Market is officially reopened for business! The mission of the Mellon Market is to provide students the opportunity to develop valuable work skills and foster inclusion, independence, and a sense of community at Mellon Middle School.
A big thank you to our dedicated student workers: Julia Cosentino, Sadie Gloss, Osward Mulenga, Grace Oliver, Sofia Poliziani, Mason Smith, Ashten Turzai, Heath Tyburski, Ellie Vernon, and Lily Wyland for their hard work in reopening the market! We are also incredibly grateful for the overwhelming generosity of Mellon parents, whose donations stocked the shelves and made this reopening possible.
Special appreciation goes to Mr. Houck for organizing student workers, helpers, and shopping times, ensuring the market runs smoothly.
On select days during periods 2, 3, 4, & 8, students can shop during team time. The Mellon Market is stocked with pens, pencils, water and flavor packets, hot cocoa, fidget toys, and small snacks.
