MMS Student Activities

Try Something New. Find Your People.

Middle school is the perfect time to explore, and at MMMS, getting involved is one of the best ways to do it. Beyond the classroom, our clubs, activities, and teams give students the chance to discover new interests, build friendships, and find where they belong.

Whether your student wants to make music, compete in academic games, run cross country, write for the literary magazine, help lead through Student Council, or support a classmate through tutoring, there's a place to get involved at Mellon.

Explore Our Activities

In middle school, we encourage every student to try something new. Explore the opportunities below and reach out to an activity’s advisor to learn more.

Cross-Age Tutoring

Cross-Age Tutoring connects Mellon students with academically successful Mt. Lebanon High School students for help with homework and test preparation. Students meet on Monday and Tuesday in Room 015 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

MMS Clubs

Each fall, activities are built around what students are excited about, from student council to clubs to sports; there's always something new to try. Activities are subject to change for the 2026-2027 school year.
